My name is Ruth, and this is the story of Unique Girls Academy. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, amidst humble beginnings. Raised by a strong, single mother, she did everything in her power to give us the best childhood.

Despite the challenges, my mother never gave up on me. She believed in my potential and encouraged me to chase my dreams. With her unwavering support, she secured me a scholarship to study modeling, self-care, and social etiquette. But the road wasn't easy. In an industry fixated on a singular idea of beauty, at the time the world wasn't ready for a curvy girl like me.

Then, in 2017, my opportunity finally came. A model search led me to Wilhelmina Models, where I was offered a contract. In that moment, a dream was sown in my heart - a dream to empower girls like me, to share with them the gift of self-confidence.

Today, that dream has blossomed into Unique Girls Academy. Our mission is simple yet profound: to help every girl recognize her worth, embrace her uniqueness, and walk confidently into her future. With faith as our foundation, we believe that every girl has the potential to shine bright and make a difference in this world.
